چکیده

In this study, the performance of several binary and ternary mixtures containing high-calcium fly ash other pozzolans, such as Class F silica fume, were investigated for their sulfate resistance using different sodium solutions. The mortar bars placed in a similar solution per modified ASTM C 1012/1012M (33,800 ppm SO42?) with less severe (6000 has been tested to resemble actual field duration 18 months. phase composition samples was X-ray diffraction scanning electron microscope coupled energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM/EDS). Results show that moderate concentration experience expansion deterioration than same higher concentration. Storage solutions resulted formation ettringite gypsum both concentrations. Replacement cement by showed significantly amounts formation, especially stored SEM analysis revealed be primary cause disruption observed bars.

Transport coefficients of binary and ternary mixtures of DCMIX project

We present the thermodiffusion, molecular diffusion and Soret coefficients of several binary and ternary mixtures of DCMIX project. All measurements were carried out at 25oC and two experimental techniques have been used such as the thermogravitational column technique (TGC) and the Sliding symmetric Tubes technique (SST). In addition the thermophysical properties of analysed mixtures have been...

Semi Empirical Calculation of Intermolecular Potentials and Transport Properties of Some Binary and Ternary Industrial Refrigerant Mixtures

In this study the intermolecular potential energies of some environment-friendly industrial HFC refrigerants were obtained through the inversion method which is based on the corresponding states principle. These potentials were later employed in calculation of transport properties (viscosity, diffusion, thermal conductivity and thermal diffusion factor) of some binary and ternary refrigerant mi...

Relationship between Micellar Lifetime and Foamability of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate and Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate/ 1-Hexanol Mixtures

The interface between air and surfactant solution expands rapidly during the foam generation process. Surfactant molecules in the solution should adsorb onto the newly created surface to stabilize foam. As surfactant monomers adsorb on the surface, micelles disintegrate to provide additional monomers to adsorb on the expanding interface of foam. If micelles are very stable, they cannot rapidly ...
